Peter Robins
Peter, who very sadly passed away in 2003, was always horrified when people referred to him as an expert in the field of Close Quarter Combat, particularly World War II combatives. Peter would always defer to others who had served as instructors under W.E.Fairburn, not realising that without his study amd writings, much of what was known about the subject would have long since faded away.
Peter was a true expert, not only in Fairbairn's Defendu, but martial arts in general, with a wealth of knowledge and ability. More Importantly, though, he was one of nature's truly nice people. Peter was one of the first and leading BCA instructors.
